Splashings on the web about food.
Sometimes people wonder what I do in London. Besides my full time job, I indulge in food and shoes... and hopefully some point further in my life, dance.

Apologies

This site requires minor twiggings. I'm a tech and html idiot and find it a complete feat just to accomplish what I have done, so please pardon me. If you have some tips of how I can improve, do let me know. Thanks!

White Almond Cookies

Of all the CNY cookies, I love these white almond cookies... Not to be mistakened with the Chinese restaurant almond cookies with an almond on top. This recipe is hard to come by, so I'm glad that my aunt got hold of it! Its quite similar to what I eat when I was younger, except that those back then were whiter and have more almond slices. I would have put more almond slices if i had more but I don't. Thanks to the wonderful place called London which has so limited selection of baking products (maybe I don't know where it is). I hand-carried these almond slices back when I went home the last time. So this is my only supply :( Unless I'm very lucky to be able to e-bay or find them on some UK internet site.

yum yum yum.... :)
